Join El Museo del Barrio at the Moving Image Contemporary Video Art Fair for a panel discussion around the notion of what is real in film and video. The topic for the panel draws from El Museo del Barrio’s current exhibition, superreal: alternative realities in photography and video, on view through May 19, 2013. The exhibition explores the layered meanings and interpretations of the real as represented in photos and video. Panelists include El Museo’s Chief Curator, Chus Martínez, independent curator Omar Lopez-Chahoud, and video artists Christine Howard Sandoval, Ivan Navarro, and Edin Vélez.
